A note from the Artist about this piece:
I spent my younger childhood living by the sea. Being in-land now in the Leicestershire countryside, I yearn to be back near the water. But there is one thing that I do love about where I live and that’s the colours of the skies in summer. The most vivid pinks mix with tangerine and glide into purple before they meet the indigo of the impending night. My studio has a beautiful view of the sky over the adjoining fields. Sometimes, I like to think nature paints them just for me.
